Bosch Export has introduced the new fire products on it’s first pure fire seminar in Export history! During this two-day seminar, held in Bucharest on the 7th and 8th of April, all eyes where on fire products.

During the first day a private session was held to our Bosch BSSD-Fire partners, in which the new products and future plans for the fire portfolio where announced. The strong message: “Bosch is a reliable partner you can trust, also in times of crisis. Bosch plans to steam ahead forward and sees the crisis as an opportunity to increase market share instead of playing defensive”.

New products are introduced to help our partners to improve there market position. With the new FPA1200 2-loop panel on the way Bosch finds access to the mid-range segment of the market, whereas an increased networking capacity of the FPA5000 allows access to even larger projects.

Introducing the new “best in class” loop sounders (up to 50 per loop!) and doubling the number of field couplers, all LSNi, Bosch now can make 254 element loops with a maximum length of 3000 mtr. This really gives the competitive edge.

On the second day an expert on fire development from Efectis (Dutch fire research laboratory) held an interesting lecture educating architects and specifiers on fire behavior in different types of buildings. The important message; fire is unpredictable, and more over, in developing a fire system you need to look at “integral fire safety” rather than fire detection only. For each building one needs to ask it selves, who is in the building, are there special building aspects to consider, what is to be achieved in case of fire. Based on this a tailor made solution is to be designed in cooperation between the specifier and fire system installer.

Bosch introduced to the architects and consultants integrated solutions in which fire detection was combined with paging systems for silent alarm and PA-EVAC systems for voice evacuation. Bosch is one of the very few players on the market covering all these aspects.
To make it easy for architects and specifiers to specify these solutions new software called FSS (Fire System Specifier) has been introduced.

We look back on an informative and successful event!
