Innovation

A comprehensive, state-of-the-art fire detection system from Bosch Security Systems is installed in the Kempinski Hotel The Dome in Turkey. Opened in 2005, the luxury hotel is located on the Mediterranean coast near the ancient harbour city of Antalya. The fire detection system, comprises detectors from Bosch’s well-proven 500 and 400 Series and Universal Fire panels of the type 2000 Series LSN (Local SecurityNetwork) with associated interface, alarm and control equipment.

Features

  • Smoke detector 500 Series: scattered-light fire detection principle with dual external detection areas  ensure an extremely high level of reliability.
  • Fire detector 400 Series: Leading-edge algorithms and integrated alarm pattern comparisons, achieve the highest level of intelligent fire detection.
  • Fire Panel 2000 Series: 96 LEDs indicating faults and/or alarms on detectors or in the hotel’s 14 detector zones. SRT System Ring Technology for for highly reliable operation.

Application

  • 1092 detectors are installed  throughout the complex and are connected through Bosch’s Local SecurityNetwork (LSN).
  • Three 2000 Series fire panels are configured in a System Ring Technology (SRT) network, indicating the status of the water extinguishing system, including butterflyvalves, flow switches, wet alarm valves and pumps.
  • Zone-specific sounders and loudspeaker announcement facilities are provided in the event of alarm verification.
